Marketing During a Pandemic

Life-altering events (you know, like, PANDEMICS!?!?) can throw your business for a loop. It’s important to maintain transparency and awareness of the times. Here’s our content guide for supporting your business during crazy times.

  1. Give updates!

What’s up with your business? People want updates, so give them what they want! Let your audience know what’s open or closed, which hours have changed and which services are on hold. Make sure you’re sharing any safety precautions for employees and customers. (Poor precautions can make or break respect for your business!)

  2. Show options!

Let them know new ways to contact you or how to buy your services.

  3. Be real!

Address what is happening now, and don't ignore the situation. They want to know you’re human too and not just carrying on like business as usual.

  4. Get helpful!

If your brand has the resources to send supplies, donations, or sponsor small fundraisers, do it! Maybe you can highlight small businesses that could use support, share tips to stay healthy, or give essential workers some appreciation. Even the small things help.

  5. Tighten up!

Make sure to dot your i's and cross your t’s. Dial in your brand, and make sure your phones, emails, websites, and social media accounts are good to go with appropriate logos, content, photos, etc.

  6. Keep creating!

If your storefront is closed, online may be the only way your audience will know you’re out there! Now is not the time to take a break from social media or online marketing. Continue to push out your usual, high-quality content.

  7. Make old good again!

Struggling to find content? Re-visit evergreen content and repost it. Don’t forget to make it relevant to the current circumstances if necessary.
