Floor It with A1 Automotive
Our client A-1 Automotive was in need of more than a fresh paint job – their website needed a full-body restoration. Come along for a ride as we explore the fastest new upgrades on the web. (And we swear, that’s the last play on words for the rest of this blog.)
As their name suggests, A-1 Automotive is an auto repair shop specializing in retail and commercial vehicles in Orange County.
So, let’s review.
User Experience
When you have as many services as A-1, organization becomes the foundation to a simple user experience. (How will a potential customer know where to restore their commercial fleet if you have two other locations? You gotta tell ‘em!) We organized the navigation by five sections: Home, Locations, Retail Services, Fleet Services, and Contact. From there, potential customers can more easily access information about the services they need and details about seasonal tune ups and more.
Fonts and Colors
True to their original color scheme, we kept the red, gave the shade a boost, and sprinkled it consistently throughout the site. For fonts, we stuck with simple and sleek for legibility.
And finally...
Photography
The photography really seals the site up with a big red bow. We captured day-to-day work at the A-1 shops and pulled the saturation way down for a retro-inspired look fitting of an autoshop. Now you’ll see mechanics in their uniforms and views of the shop on the homepage!
